Hi. I'm Nick. I bought a TT back in February to see if it would help a 1987 D-35 that just wasn't putting out as I thought it should. The guitar had been played off and on during it's 37 years of life, but compared to other, even much newer, D-35s I thought it was lacking. Put the TT on it usingt the regular six strings setup at full blast for a total of 98 hours. The results were amazing. It woke up. My observations: Deeper base tones. Louder volume. Crazy long sustains. A friend has a 2016 HD-35 with the different bracing, which sounded pretty good in the beginning, and now my D-35 is equal to it, if not a tad richer in tone. Just wanted to be another person to testify that the Tone Traveler definitely works. The guitar now gets 5 to 7 hours of TT per week and is maintaining its great sound.
Hi, I'm Justin. I was a touring and studio guitarist for 20 years based in Nashville. Now, I make impulse responses of guitar speaker cabinets and post on a forum for a thing I bought from a Facebook ad.
